My Blood

It’s the giving of my life’s blood that has saved me,

following the example of My Lord.

Giving my life to Him in exchange for His Life’s Blood for mine.

That is the acid, that is the burning,

the destruction of the sin, the nature of the beast,

dissolving in the acid.

Yes I was willing to give anything to be free of that burden,

anything,

all that I have,

and all that I have is my life,

so that life I freely give.

In exchange, I take on Your Life, Your Holiness, as my own,

Pure in Heart, clean hands,

taking no thought of my own,

no life of my own, as I become One With You,

A tiny part of that Massive Whole, That One, that Only One, that is You.
